Personal Profile: Li Xiaobo, born in June 1989 in Jingzhou, Hubei Province, is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Economics and Management, Southwest Jiaotong University. His primary research interests include corporate finance and strategic management. During his graduate studies, he has published three papers in journals such as the International Review of Financial Analysis, China Finance Review International, and Inquiry Into Economic Issues.

Thesis Title: The Impact of Corporate Resilience on Stock Price Crash Risk and Value Creation

Thesis Overview: Drawing on dynamiccapabilities theory, this study develops a multiindicator system for corporate resilience and empirically analyzes its effects on Chinese listed firms crash risk and valuecreation. Corporate resilience reduces crash risk and boosts firm value via internal control, information transparency and strategic reform, with its influence conditioned by internal and external governance. It helps firms achieve risk control and valueincrease under uncertainty from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
