Thesis Title: Investor Risk Perception and Its Impact on Asset Pricing

Thesis Overview: Focusing on China’s Ashare market, this study explores the impacts of investor riskperception on asset pricing. Using variations in booktomarket ratio to measure idiosyncratic riskperception shocks, it builds a corresponding factor and examines its roles in crosssectional returns, factor pricing and market return forecasting. The research provides empirical support for understanding stockprice formation and enriches Chinabased assetpricing research.
